Linda Cordisco-Steele is a trainer at NCAC, as well as an interviewer. She is pretty close to you. SHe may be an ideal source for training. Other CACs will interview 4 and 5 year olds. Sandra Hewitt, Ph.D., has written about and conducted assessments of children 18 months and older, but she has retired. Her book, published by Sage in 1999, is entitled Assessing Allegations of Sexual Abuse in Preschool Children: Understanding Small Voices. Children's Hospital at Harvard used to conduct extended assessments with very young children, but the program was closed for financial reasons.
