Subject:Effectiveness of Assessment/Receiving Homes for Child Welfare
Dear all,
I am looking for any literature that has explored the clinical rationale and/or effectiveness of assessment/receiving homes in child welfare, i.e., a parent-model staff-supported setting that provides assessment only for children upon admission to out-of-home care. In particular, I am looking for research has looked at this type of home where the placement is short-term, i.e., the child remains in the home for the assessment only, and either proceeds to reunifcation or another placement following the assessment. Any references are gratefully accepted.
