Submission Deadline Extended to January 12, 2015 One Child, Many Hands: A Multidisciplinary Conference on Child Welfare Sponsored by the Field Center for Children’s Policy, Practice & Research June 10 – 12, 2015 University of Pennsylvania - Philadelphia The University of Pennsylvania's Field Center for Children's Policy, Practice & Research is issuing a Call for Papers for its sixth biennial multidisciplinary child welfare conference. The Field Center, a collaboration of the University of Pennsylvania's Schools of Social Policy & Practice, Medicine, Law, and Nursing, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, hosts the One Child, Many Hands conference on alternate years, bringing cutting edge work from leading policymakers, researchers and practitioners to an audience reflecting the varied disciplines involved in all aspects of child welfare. The conference, with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as the lead community sponsor, will be held on June 10 – 12, 2015 at the University of Pennsylvania's Law School. The conference features three days of keynote presentations, plenary panels, networking luncheons, and breakout sessions. Proposed presentations are solicited that advance the field of child welfare from the perspective of a variety of disciplines. Information and submission forms are attached. Proposals need to include a cover sheet, maximum 25-word abstract, and maximum 500-word description. The deadline for submissions is extended to January 12, 2015.
