I briefly reviewed this literature in a final report to DHHS, ACF, grant no. 90PH0005/01. I am happy to send that report to you if you would like, Please contact me directly. There is also a paper by Richard Wexlar in the New England Law Review, (2001-2), Vol. 36, p. 129- that reviews some of this literature.

Subject: Sexual abuse in out of home care
Dear Colleagues,
We are doing a scoping study and are searching for any studies (not opinion pieces, legislation, guidelines, etc) that look at strategies for preventing child sexual abuse for children/youth in out-of-home care (defined as foster, kinship, group, residential etc). Any type of study, qualitative or quantitative, using any design will be considered.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this request.
