Subject:Re: Programs that assist youth aging out of care
There are a lot of programs that serve youth aging out of care. I am most familiar with programs here in the US, but there are programs in other countries as well. Relatively few of the US programs have been rigorously evaluated.
The Multi-Site Chafee Evaluation is the only rigorous evaluation of Chafee funded independent living programs.

Hello All,
I am wondering if anyone knows of programs nationally or internationally that help youth who are aging out of care. If yes, has there been any empirical research conducted on these programs? For example, what kinds of things do these programs emphasize? What kinds of things should these program focus on for youth who are aging out of care.
Thank you!
