Subject:Foundations Collective Call for Applications -- Fall 2026 Cohort

A friendly reminder that applications for the Foundations Collective are due next Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 11:59pm PST. See below for more information. Application link found here: https://forms.gle/hCMJQtTF1uuATwfA8 ------------------------ Colleagues, The Foundations Collective is a new mentoring initiative from Building Healthy Relationships to End Violence (BHREV) for doctoral students whose scholarship connects to violence prevention, healthy relationships, or related areas. Designed for doctoral students who have completed their required coursework, the Foundations Collective brings together a cohort of emerging scholars for three virtual sessions for Fall 2026 centered on the questions that become especially important as you move more deeply into independent scholarship. * How do I sustain meaningful—and sometimes contested—research? * How do I navigate methodological and translational decisions as my work develops? * And where might this work take me? Rather than traditional workshops, Foundations Collective sessions emphasize conversation, mentorship, and connection. Participants will learn from violence prevention and healthy relationship scholars working across different settings; engage in small-group conversations with peers and mentors; and have opportunities to build relationships with doctoral students working in related areas. See flyer below for key details. Applications are due Wednesday September 2, 2026 at 11:59pm PST Apply here: https://forms.gle/hCMJQtTF1uuATwfA8 Foundations Collective is an initiative of the BHREV Mentoring Core.
