On behalf of the NDACAN team, I am pleased to share that the NDACAN Summer Training Series Session 3 materials are now available on the NDACAN website . This includes the Session 3 video , Session 3 slides (PDF) , Session 3 Transcription (txt) , Session 3 R Code , and Session 3 R Output .
The final Summer Training Series is tomorrow, July 29th, from 12-1pm EST. If you are interested in registering, please see the 2026 Summer Training Series announcement and registration link below. Summer Training Series Announcement:
Join us for the 2026 National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect’s Summer Training Series. Our theme this year is “Laying the Groundwork.” This series is designed to strengthen the foundational skills necessary to conduct high-quality, impactful research with administrative data. Through hands-on sessions, participants will gain practical experience with key aspects of administrative data, such as understanding data structures, managing data quality, linking across data sources, and data presentation. For scholars who are new to this area or are seeking to reinforce essential competencies, this series offers a thorough starting point for building rigorous research on child welfare using administrative data.
