Hello Members,
My name is Trisha Church and I am conducting a research study to fulfill the requirements for a Doctoral Degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School. The study is looking to explore alternative strategies to shield children from abuse stemming from parental methamphetamine exposure. The focus is on methods that diverge from traditional foster care yet present equally effective means to protect children from neglect, maltreatment, emotional trauma, and physical abuse.
Attendees will have a private, one-hour meeting with the researcher using Zoom Video Conferencing. The meeting will be scheduled at a time convenient for the participant and will remain confidential.
Participate in a study on Improving the Outcomes for Children Affected by Parental Methamphetamine Abuse: A Qualitative Study of Alternatives to Foster Care, explores potential solutions and support systems that could improve outcomes for children impacted by this issue.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE? Trained clinicians, Social service workers, Court workers, clinicians, and/or Court workers are required to have ten or more years of professional experience in working with methamphetamine-involved parents and their children.
For more information on eligibility, please contact Trisha Church, Principal Investigator tchurch@ego.thechicagoschool.edu
