Subject:The Prevention Services Clearinghouse Requests Program or Service Recommendations

Dear Christopher Wildeman, We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to you about the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse , established by the Administration for Children and Families within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to systematically review research on programs and services intended to provide enhanced support to children and families and prevent foster care placements. The programs and services that the Clearinghouse reviews are generally identified through recommendations from program developers, practitioners and program providers, and other interested parties. The Clearinghouse accepts recommendations year-round but also conducts an annual public call that is announced through our listserv as well as other partnering listservs. We are writing to you because we would like to increase our reach to organizations and individuals who have experience working with or are interested in mental health, substance abuse, parent skill-based, or kinship programs and services. We are requesting your help to reach new audiences who may then recommend new programs and services to the Clearinghouse. Would you be willing to share our outreach materials with your organization’s members and audiences through your listservs? We have provided template language (attached) for this purpose. Please let us know if you are able to help with this request. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your consideration. Sincerely, Sandra Wilson Project Director, Prevention Services Clearinghouse sandra_wilson@abtassoc.com   ________________________________ This message may contain privileged and confidential information intended solely for the addressee.
