Subject:Special issue on Global ACEs Research- Call for Papers in Child Protection and Practice

Good afternoon, all: We would like to share details on a new Special Issue “Expanding Our Definition and Understanding of Childhood Adversity – A Global Perspective” in Child Protection and Practice (co-Editors-in-Chief: Drs. Maternowska and Wekerle), a new Elsevier journal on child maltreatment and protection works. Manuscript submission for the special issue is currently open and will close on February 1st, 2024. This is an open access journal; however the APC is waived through June 2024. The special issue is focused on expanding our understanding of childhood adversity from a global perspective (e.g., child marriage, polyvictimization, refugee trauma) in consideration of the multitude of experiences that extend beyond commonly considered events. The full call can be accessed here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/child-protection-and-practice/about/call-for-papers#expanding-our-definition-and-understanding-of-childhood-adversity-a-global-perspective .
