Aura Lifespan Developmental Psychology Faculty Position Department of Psychology NC State University Position Number 00000417 The Department of Psychology at North Carolina State University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Lifespan Developmental Psychology to begin Fall 2024. We are seeking an applied developmental scientist with a focus on earlier phases of the lifespan (i.e., infancy, childhood and/or adolescence). Research foci may include but are not limited to health, health disparities or behaviors, and inequalities. We are especially interested in candidates who examine contextual influences and utilize advanced quantitative or mixed method approaches. Successful candidates will have a strong record of research productivity, the potential to develop an independent, externally-funded research program, and a commitment to teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Inclusiveness and diversity are academic imperatives and thus are university goals. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for students from underrepresented groups. In addition, NC State welcomes applications from all persons without regard to sexual orientation.
