Subject:(FULL Panel); Re: Seeking Child Welfare Data Panelists for NDACAN Office Hours 4/14
Hello all, As a follow-up to my solicitation from yesterday, I wanted to let you all know that we now have a full panel for next month’s Office Hours event. I was pleasantly overwhelmed by the number of people who offered to lend their expertise, which makes me very optimistic about the future of child welfare research. On behalf of the staff of NDACAN, thank you for your willingness to help us advance our larger goals. I hope to see many of you at our next Office Hours event on March 10th (Data User Flash Talks) and April 10th (Data Careers in Child Welfare), both occurring from 12 pm – 1 pm. Free registration for both events is available here: https://cornell.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJAqcO6tpz4sH9y0U1WTlQwNTjyP_zzjx3nd With gratitude, Clayton Clayton C. Subject: Seeking Child Welfare Data Panelists for NDACAN Office Hours 4/14
Hello all,
NDACAN will be hosting a panel during next month’s Office Hours event that will focus on data careers in child welfare. We are currently seeking one or two more panelists to share their experiences as child welfare data professionals. For this panel, we are especially interested in seeking the expertise of child welfare experts who are or have worked outside of academia. This panel will take place virtually on Friday, April 14th from 12:30 pm – 1 pm ET. If you are interested and available at this time, please reach out to me directly at claytoncovington@g.harvard.edu .
Lastly, do not forget to join us next Friday, March 10th for Office Hours (12 pm – 1 pm ET), which will feature flash talks from Austin Blake (Arizona State University) and Jamie Joseph (Vanderbilt University). These two doctoral students and data users will share work related to their dissertations. You can register for the event here: https://cornell.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJAqcO6tpz4sH9y0U1WTlQwNTjyP_zzjx3nd
Cheers,
Clayton
