The Center for Violence Prevention Research is hiring a part time research coordinator to manage an upcoming, multi-year study on the prevention of child sexual abuse. About us: The Center for Violence Prevention Research conducts rigorous science by evaluating and developing community-based strategies that expand the evidence base for what works to prevent violence against women and children. By answering the questions “Does it work?” and, “How, for whom, and in what settings?” the Center will improve existing prevention strategies, programs, and policies. Example duties include: * Develops and executes research protocols and study procedures * Manage timelines and lead the timely processing of progress reports and deliverables. * Ensures research activities comply with federal, state, and sponsor policies. * Collects data and/or oversees online data collection. * Manages data using safe and secure organizational procedures. Example Skills, Education, Experience * Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience. * Experience conducting human subjects’ research with vulnerable populations * Experience with project management support for research teams including creating activity planning and sequencing, setting timelines, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and organizing and storing documents. Hourly rate is $30-$35/hour depending on skill and level of experience. Position is full remote with work-from-home benefits. Details in the attached posting.
