CAPC Job Posting We're Hiring a Psychologist at Children's National Hospital Our team in the Child & Adolescent Protection center is seeking a skilled, trauma-informed, culturally humble and highly motivated psychologist to join our team to provide trauma-specific mental health care and psychological evaluations and support to patients who have experienced abuse or sexual violence. As a part of this interdisciplinary team, this faculty member will also actively participate in the education and training of medical and behavioral health students, residents and fellows within the hospital and community. A successful candidate would have a passion for providing world class patient care, advocacy, education, and research. This candidate will also be skillful at collaboration not only with medical professionals, but also with multidisciplinary team members in the child welfare and criminal legal systems, and the victim services community. Position Requisites • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology • Successful completion of postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology • Preferred 3 years of experience as a member of a multidisciplinary team and working with parents across ethnic boundaries. Experience in a pediatric academic setting. Evidence of participation in collaborative research. Interest in teaching/supervision. • Licensed in Washington, DC.
