Good afternoon, I am reaching out about exciting opportunities here at Chapin Hall! We are actively recruiting a Policy Analyst to help support state and local child welfare jurisdictions across the country to successfully build their capacity to identify and implement evidence-based improvement strategies designed to improve safety, permanency, and well-being outcomes for vulnerable children and families. The successful candidate will work with public and private child welfare leaders integrating the best available knowledge, scientific research and policy expertise into the design and implementation of policies, strategies and programs that achieve the agency’s strategic direction and create positive change improving child and family outcomes. Current PhD candidates (graduation date this spring) or recent PhD graduates with a background in child welfare practice AND substantive research and/or policy interest are strongly encouraged to apply. Master’s level graduates with several years of direct child welfare practice experience and background in policy analysis are also encouraged to apply.
