Subject:clinical research position in NYC on child trauma
I am excited to announce that Child HELP Partnership, a specialized child trauma program in New York City, has an opening for a Clinical Research Psychologist.
Child HELP Partnership (CHP; www.childhelppartnership.org ), housed in the Department of Psychology at St. John’s University in Queens, is dedicated to developing, adapting, and evaluating prevention and treatment programs for child trauma and its sequelae. The Assistant Director's role is critical to the clinical work, research, and teaching conducted at Child HELP Partnership. The Assistant Director is responsible for:
* overseeing daily operations of the Child HELP Partnership clinic,
* doing assessments and therapy with traumatized families,
* supervising undergraduate and graduate students in their clinical work and research,
* conducting outreach to CHP’s community partners,
* developing a program of research, and
* collaborating on city, private, and federal grant proposals.
