Hello, I may be able to help with some information regarding case assignment by type. Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services in Ohio (Cleveland) has a unit that handles sexual abuse investigations and another called the Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Team (START) that handles cases with drug-exposed infants. The latter has been in practice for many years, and I believe Ohio has adopted the model for the Ohio START program. I am somewhat new to CQI and data analysis, but I may be able to point you to people who may have access to information that might help. In addition, is anyone familiar with any research or information regarding assigning case managers by maltreatment type (sexual abuse, physical abuse)?
