Across the United States, communities have been suffering from the consequences of the pandemic. Communities of color have been grappling with the collective trauma brought on by systemic and institutional racism. Join us in a conversation about the impacts of these traumas on our communities and about ways to work towards community resilience. To address the many complex issues facing our communities, we must build bridges across systems, sectors, and disciplines. The Monroe County Family Coalition and Connecting for Kids are examples of programs developed in response to trauma in the community. The speakers will discuss how these programs were created to meet the needs of family and youth in the community. Speakers: Jody Todd Manly, PhD, Clinical Director, Mt.
