Subject:Survey Request: Parents Suffering from Substance Use Disorder Involved with the Child Welfare System: the Perspective of Prospective and Current Child Advocate Professionals

To NDACAN Listerv, My name is Crystal Fedeli. I am a graduate student at Montclair State University. I will be earning my Masters in Child Advocacy and Policy with a Child Public Welfare Concentration and also my Masters in Social Research and Analysis next month, May 2021! As a part of my graduating requirements, I am taking a practicum class, and as a part of this class I have to conduct a research project this semester. I have chosen to conduct a project I have titled “Parents Suffering from Substance Use Disorder Involved with the Child Welfare System: the Perspective of Prospective and Current Child Advocate Professionals”. I am seeking to assess knowledge of Substance Use Disorder of prospective or current child advocate professionals, those who have or who currently encounter children and/or families in their work whether paid or volunteer, those with lived experience suffering from a Substance Use Disorder or who know someone who suffers from a Substance Use Disorder, and anyone else. I invite you all to take a survey I created titled The Evaluation of “Parents Suffering from Substance Use Disorder Involved with the Child Welfare System: the Perspective of Prospective and Current Child Advocate Professionals”. You should expect this survey to take roughly 10 minutes, at the most 15 minutes of your time. This survey is completely anonymous and your identity will be kept fully confidential. Here is the anonymous link to the survey through Montclair State University’s Qualtrics: https://montclair.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7PTuvMcuc1aKdEi Thank you in advance for your consideration.
