Subject:Kempe Center International Virtual Conference - A Call to Action to Change Child Welfare

Dear Colleagues, We are excited to announce that the call for proposals is now open for Kempe’s International Virtual Conference, A Call to Action to Change Child Welfare! This year’s event will take place from October 4-7, 2021 (North America, Europe, Africa) and October 5-8, 2021 (Asia, Australia, New Zealand). Kempe will reconvene and expand the international community of practice brought together during the inaugural, groundbreaking 2020 event where 1400 participants from 20 different countries convened to debate, innovate, and discuss ways to transform child welfare. Contributors included children and young people, family members, leading practitioners, advocates, academics, and managers from around the globe. The Kempe Conference Team is currently reaching out to bold, innovative, cutting-edge, and out-of-the-box thinking professionals in our field who are committed to connecting communities that lift up child and family well-being and social and community justice, and they hope that you will consider submitting a proposal to present! If you want to change child welfare and be part of the solution, you won’t want to miss being a part of this event! You can find additional details about the A Call to Action Conference and the link to submit your proposal at their website www.KempeConference.org. The deadline to submit is Thursday, May 20, 2021. Please reach out to their team kempeconference@ucdenver.edu if you have further questions at this time.
