Subject:RE: Best Practices for Parent-Child Visitation
This is very helpful. Thank you. I would also like to lift up the Quality Parenting Initiative which focuses on strengthening the relationship between foster parent and birth parents to make sure that birth parents are called early and often and encourages contact with birth parents about how the post-visit experience went. Although it’s not a “visitation” practice, per se, it’s a set of tools that can be used flexibly to support visitation.
