Proposals should now be submitted by Monday, January 27. Please help us spread the word by circulating our call for proposals widely, and consider submitting a proposal yourself! An overview of the symposium objectives is summarized below. Proposals can be submitted at the following link: https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/Individuals-and-Families/Victims/Two-Days-in-May/LSCOY-Sypmposium Overview & Call for Proposals: Linking Systems 2020 Research Symposium The Linking Systems of Care Research Symposium will highlight innovative research that can inform the daily work of professionals serving children and youth exposed to abuse, violence, and crime on May 21, 2020. Emphasis will be placed on bridging the gap between research and practice, with priority given to workshops co-presented by researchers and practitioners. Workshops will be considered from all domains of service delivery (prevention, intervention, and evaluation), and focus populations may cover any stage of child/youth development (prenatal through emerging/young adult). Interactive activities, group discussion, and cross-system collaboration are encouraged. The primary goal of the symposium is to highlight the translation between current research and best practices in working with victimized children and youth, providing participants with research-based strategies to enhance their own practice. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to let me know. We'll look forward to hearing from you~ Warmly, Kylie -- Kylie E.
