Subject:child behavior during visits

Is anyone aware of research about what meaning to make of child behavior during visits? What about child’s behavior might indicate “adequate” and/or “not adequate” behavior/bonding/attachment on the parent’s part? What about the child’s behavior might give us a clue about the parents’ capacity to parent this child?
