INVITATION TO WRITE TIMELY, PEER REVIEWED ARTICLES ON TOPICS RELATED TO CHILD MALTREATMENT/CHILD WELFARE
The American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC) is a multidisciplinary professional society dedicated to the best professional practice on behalf of abused and neglected children and their families. APSAC publishes The APSAC Advisor, a quarterly, practice-focused newsletter addressing cutting edge issues related to child maltreatment/child welfare. APSAC’s membership consists of social workers, physicians, attorneys, psychologists, child welfare staff, law enforcement officers, researchers, judges, educators, administrators, psychiatrists, nurses, counselors, and other professionals.
APSAC invites manuscripts reporting original research, review articles, and program evaluations on child maltreatment/child welfare topics. Length of articles should be about 6,000 words. APSAC also invites articles describing programs and articles on contested topics. The length of these articles should be about 2,000 words. Full submissions guidelines are available here.
In addition, APSAC is interested in proposals for special topic issues or special sections, which are comprised of several articles.
