Subject:new data on race/ethnicity and referrals after findings of child maltreatment

One of the findings of the 1992 piece by Tjaden & Thoennes was that after a finding of child abuse, ethnic minority families were more likely to face adversarial interventions (e.g. custody removal) whereas white maltreating families were more likely to be referred to therapy and other supportive services. Can anyone send me or direct me to more recent research that has explored this issue? Thanks. Lisa Fontes, Ph.D. LFontes@RCN.com
