Subject:European Conference on Domestic Violence, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Sept 2015
Dear Colleagues,
Queen’s University Belfast (http://www.qub.ac.uk/home/TheUniversity/AboutQueens/) is pleased to host the European Conference on Domestic Violence from 6th-9th September 2015 (http://www.qub.ac.uk/sites/ECDV2015/).
The conference is designed to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from around the world to share their work and to network. The call for abstracts is now open, and we would welcome submissions exploring the impact of domestic violence on children and young people, as well as research reporting the effectiveness of different interventions. While the conference has a European focus we would welcome examples of practice and research from outside Europe.
One of the aims of the conference is to develop practice and research networks, and we would also welcome proposals for the ‘Networking Opportunities’ that will form part of the formal programme at the conference (http://www.qub.ac.uk/sites/ECDV2015/NetworkingOpportunities/).
For those who are able to attend we will ensure that you have a wonderful time in Belfast!
Best wishes,
John
