Hello everyone - This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in behavioral interventions to prevent child maltreatment and promote child and family well-being. Please forward to anyone who might be interested! My Apologies for any cross-postings. Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work is pleased to announce a postdoctoral fellowship in the areas of child maltreatment prevention. The postdoctoral fellow will work primarily on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded grant, “Strategic Prevention of Adverse Childhood Experiences (SPACE) project.” The project collaborates with pediatric health partners throughout the state of Virginia to implement and evaluate the impact of an evidence-based intervention to prevent ACEs and improve maternal and child health. This fellowship program emphasizes the training and development of independent research investigators who will assume leadership roles in academic and research institutions focusing on preventing child maltreatment and improving child and family wellness. For questions, ask Dr. Sunny Shin, Director of the Innovation in Child and Family Wellness(Innovative Wellness) Research Group at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work.
