Subject:RE: Request for peer-reviewed and grey literature on collaboration in child welfare

Hi Kim, Yes, we have come across studies/evaluations of CACs. However, many of them do not meet our inclusion criteria. I did not list all the inclusion criteria in my email because I didn’t want to make it too confusing. Our review focuses specifically on studies/evaluations that look at outcomes associated with CACs. In addition, the study/evaluation needed to be explicitly focused on collaboration (rather than just an intervention or program that involves collaboration). The reason we included this last inclusion criteria is that the word collaboration is used very loosely in the literature and many scholars have examined programs that involve some type of collaboration without actually focusing on collaboration in their analyses. We realize this is a limitation of our review, and we will note it in the paper. Jon Phillips, PhD, LSW/MSW Pronouns: He/Him/His (What’s this?) You could look at the work by Wendy Walsh. CACs are the definition of interagency collaboration. We have already conducted a systematic search of academic databases and websites. At this time, we are reaching out to scholars and asking them to send us studies or evaluations they have completed on this topic so that we can ensure they are included in the review.
