Responsibilities and Duties: * Write detailed data analytic plans to address research questions * Develop detailed and well-documented SAS programs to manage, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets * Create/define new variables from existing data * Write SAS programs to generate presentation-quality tables, listings, and datasets * Perform analyses defined in the statistical analysis plan as well as ad-hoc analyses as requested * Develop SAS macros, templates and utilities for data cleaning and reporting * Build programs to create SAS datasets from delimited files and other data sources * Perform validation of and quality assurance aspects of all SAS programing activities * Effectively communicate data analytic procedures and results to other researchers, funders, and agency and community partners * Other duties as assigned * Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a scientific discipline required. Minimum of two years of experience in writing SAS programming code. Demonstrated skills in the management and resolution of SAS programming. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred. SAS Certification and experience and knowledge of the child welfare field preferred. Knowledge Requirements: Working knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/MACRO, ODS, and SQL. Working knowledge of relational databases. Working knowledge of Python. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong analytic and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and effectively follow through with multiple priorities under deadline pressure. Demonstrate proficiency using various statistical software programs. SALARY AND APPOINTMENT INFORMATION This is a full-time (100%), twelve month non-tenure track academic professional position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Interviews may be conducted before the search closes; however, no hiring decision will be made until all applications have been considered.
