Dear All,
Attached is a recent article on attachment theory and children's memory for removal. Thank you, Lisa, for the Folman article. It is super important to hear the children's voices.
Sincerely,

I am attaching an article about the trauma of the initial removal. It is not a new article, but still very eloquent and certainly relevant to short term placements.

Subject: Request to Post message to list serve re: Short Term Placements in Foster Care
Hello,
The New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee is currently evaluating the rate of short term placements in foster care (children who exit foster care in less than 30 days). We were wondering if anyone has conducted research on this topic? Any work into interventions for this group or the trauma of short term placements in foster care would be helpful. Thank you very much for your time and assistance,
Sarah Dinces, Ph.D.
