Call for Presentations – Deadline Extended to 1/5/19 Field Center for Children’s Policy Practice & Research’s Child Welfare Conference: One Child, Many Hands: A Multidisciplinary Conference on Child Welfare June 5 – 7, 2019 University of Pennsylvania - Philadelphia Join your colleagues and share your important work at our well-established cross-disciplinary child welfare conference. The University of Pennsylvania's Field Center for Children's Policy, Practice & Research has issued a Call for Presentations for its 2019 multidisciplinary child welfare conference. Since 2005, the Field Center, a collaboration of the University of Pennsylvania's Schools of Social Policy & Practice, Medicine, Law and Nursing, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, has featured leading policymakers, researchers and practitioners to bring their cutting edge work to an audience reflecting the varied disciplines involved in all aspects of child welfare. One Child, Many Hands will next be held on June 5 – 7, 2019 at the University of Pennsylvania's historic Law School, on Penn’s Philadelphia campus. The conference features three days of keynote presentations, plenary panels, networking luncheons, and breakout sessions. Proposed presentations are solicited that advance the field of child welfare from the perspective of a variety of disciplines. Information can be found on the conference website at https://fieldcenteratpenn.org/one-child-many-hands/ and submission materials may be accessed directly at https://fieldcenteratpenn.org/one-child-many-hands/call-for-presentations/ . Proposals must include a cover sheet, maximum 25-word abstract, three learning objectives, and maximum 500-word description. The deadline for submissions has been extended to January 5, 2019.
