Katie, et al: I sent this earlier but it was rejected. Not sure why. Hello: I have run a version of this service – Information for Practice ( IP > ifp.nyu.edu ) for the past 27 years. The goal has always been to facilitate the use of higher quality information to support practice for social care/social welfare/social work professionals throughout the English speaking world. It is freely available to anyone. I link to both full text (OA) journals and to abstracts of articles behind paywalls (you can always write to the first author for a pre/reprint). Content on the site is broken down into the following categories (n of current entries in each category in parentheses): Categories · Calls & Consultations (311) · Clinical Trials (2,921) · Funding (286) · Grey Literature (19,218) · Guidelines Plus (4,286) · History (2,865) · Infographics (2,717) · Journal Article Abstracts (166,212) · Meta-analyses – Systematic Reviews (6,714) · Monographs & Edited Collections (2,896) · News (1,539) · Open Access Journal Articles (26,422) · Video (4,355) Our coverage is very broad in these fields and child maltreatment is certainly a part of that coverage. If you do a search for the phrase “child maltreatment” these are the results (today): https://ifp.nyu.edu/page/10/?s=%22child+maltreatment%22 If you are a Twitter user, you can follow tweets re: a subset of new content on IP at: http://twitter.com/info4practice We have written about the service a number of times.
